One piece of the success is that you have a very professional, very experienced and hard working crew, but the other piece, the one which makes the little difference, is that the people working for you are nice, kind and great people.

Simon Coles
Simon is the founder of SCTV and has taken the business from his garden shed to two modest sized industrial units on one simple philosophy: take whatever’s going and execute to the best of ability!
Simon started his career in sound broadcasting at ITV and Channel 4. He worked on The Big Breakfast, This Morning and lots of shows involving gunging children and creating silly noises! He is also well known in sports broadcasting and has travelled the world for ITV Sport as technical producer on their biggest tournaments.
With the help of Mark & Ant, Simon gently steers SCTV and sets a culture of hard work, outstanding performance and excellent customer service.
His proudest achievement by far is recruiting and mentoring an amazing friendly team who love and excel at what they do.

Ant Sprung
Ant is really very good at anything technical.
He won’t admit to that – but yes he is.
Ant is at home with cameras, sound, editing, post production, set, light & directing – the full pink banana as they say in showbiz!
Quite how he learned all this is unclear – he says he once worked in Hollywood*. Clearly that’s not true – but here’s what we do know…
His broadcast career began in Canada, lots of fun doing cameras and sound, working at everything from ice hockey to significant documentaries.
Back in the UK in ’96 Ant was Head of Sound at Planet 24 on The Big Breakfast, mixing this busy show and adding his own creativity. That was the morning’s work – afternoons were spent managing audio post production and editing facilities.
After ‘the brekky’ Ant joined SCTV to develop our outside broadcast and web streaming business and was made a director and owner for his always excellent work.
Ant is the man for friendly, sage advice on big projects, conferences or outside broadcasts. He will plan and execute your event to the highest of standards.
